Another love of mine has always been my pets.

Sarina, here was also painted from a photo I took of her. Done in 2000. This is also the first oil portrait I've done.

My attempt to incorporate the surrounding space in this image, I think, was successful. Pulling the viewer into the painting first then the subject becomes more intimate.
